Most of the OOS teams he scheduled weren’t very good compared to where BA was ranked in TN.

Nolebull813
Since 2017 Brentwood Academy’s OOS teams have been atrocious. In the context of where BA is nationally. 6-5 Bishop Dunne TX International School of Broward Canadian team Florence Alabama multiple times Clearwater Catholic 3-6 Clearwater Academy 1A Eagles Landing GA Thats horrible. So there is no suggestion that he will be playing any meaningful OOS games even if he does turn them around. Not that there is any problem with that. No OOS game is always better than a bad one

The quality public’s don’t have it the same way and in TX it’s public’s that rule the roost. But they can’t keep up with national recruiting all star teams. So the only options for TX are teams like Mater Dei, SJB and SFA. Or no one. So then they get criticized for losing to these all star teams, or criticized for not playing OOS at all. But in the end I highly doubt the coaches TX making 6 figure care about national rankings. They care about winning their district and winning state.

ESL at Atascocita next season proves that the pub vs pub games can get done if both parties are willing and able.
