The funny part is there are several schools who have been reported to the FHSAA for far worse and they look the other way on yet a largely average school like Booker gets the hammer
Softballguy
Speaking of one of those teams who are not being punished for recruiting Check out a coach at one school calling out another for transfers and then retweeting a kid joining his team in what was back to back posts on their Twitter account For reference the one who runs this page is a coach at Bradford Someone make it make sense man 1

Well the thing is Bradford is out there getting transfers themselves from multiple counties but yet their coaches will take shots at other programs (Columbia and Cocoa come to mind) but the former is because of a coach who wasn't given the position he wanted at the first school and the latter is because Bradford hasn't been good enough to beat Cocoa despite claiming they had the best defense in the state But when you look at who they played it's obvious that their defense is a byproduct of a light schedule and they would be exposed facing good competition Edited July 11 by Softballguy

There is also another school up in North Florida that teams up here know are recruiting (in multiple sports I might add) yet the FHSAA basically told people until someone involved turns on them and gives the evidence they can't do anything about it

Most of these recruiting complaints are complete rumors and fabrications.

The 3 transfers they got from Eau Gallie have always been zoned for Cocoa and the transfer from Merritt Island. Yes the transfers from Timber Creek is kinda odd but apparently the safety transfer lives in Port St John and his dad is a coach just not sure where he coaches. But PSJ is a township of the city of Cocoa. Even a few years back.....Vieras best Dlineman in school history who is currently at UF was zoned for Cocoa his whole high school career. Just funny how schools try to single out Cocoa when all schools are getting transfers from all over. Kinda like how a school in SW FL reported a school for recruiting after their starting rb transferred to said school and ended up transferring back to the original school right before the suspension and fine was handed down. On top of that said school brought in plenty of transfers too

How I see it all publics are operating under the same set of rules. Some just do any and everything to bring another school down if it's not going in their favor. Yeah all publics are basically on the same rules The only difference is how large your county is and how you pull talent in If they want to create a competitive playoff system they need to put classifications together through high school athletes participating per county (so for male sports take the total number of male athletes in the county for every school while adding in 1 1/2 students for every out of county transfer among athletes in the county then break it down into 6 tiers of classifications then do same for the female sports) If you do that you will see a very competitive postseason because schools will be competing against schools that are pulling from similar level of talent and you will see blowouts in the title games happen far more rare then they have in the last 3 decades

Thing is I wouldn't care about Bradford schedule being weak if it wasn't for two things 1) the fact they want to act like they the best team in all of North Florida or have the best defense in the state when they won't even play the top teams in the area during the regular season (and when they have they typically lose) 2) the fact they will go steal players from Clay County, alachua county, Baker County and Columbia County but then want to talk all that shit about other schools getting kids when they are doing it themselves Like seriously they have a serious state of self inflated ego that I hope someone on their schedule can stick it up their ass and remind them to stop running their mouth faster then their ass can cash

Softballguy
Another former Columbia player now at Bradford That's I think #4 this off-season from Columbia alone not even including who Bradford have gotten from other schools And yet Bradford wants to trash other teams for getting transfers? 😂

Most of the top 25 doesn't look too far from being right but there are definitely some teams in the honorable mention category that feel like are ranked to get as many big name brands ranked as possible more than them actually being that good I could easily find 20 teams not listed that are probably better than Lincoln for example
