There are many more every year. Problem is....although they win, the prognosticators minds are geared towards a certain group of teams, given lattitude in a loss that the lesser team is not afforded. 

Being restricted by rules from their governing body  concerning scheduling, is not a reflection of the prowess of any team. Given this is not a consideration, polling leaves much to be desired.

Agree. That's one of the reasons  @misterfootball Weekly Top 50 Composite Poll is the great equalizer!!!

I would be surprised if any poll doesn't have NC in the top 5. They are #3 in maxpreps, 5 in calpreps, and 4 in SI.
