DV barely fell in the rankings after losing to MD by 42. SJB will be #6 this week.

Both Mission and Cen10 are better than Bosco. But I understand how rankings work and why Bosco would be raked above them, even though they would lose to both in the playoffs.

DV and Gorman and both better than Milton who plays a pathetic schedule.

That might work depending on how high one is ranked.   Also, taking into account they are riding with freshmen QB!

Nothing against SJB - they should be dropped 7 spots for performance like that coming in at #2 with chance of redemption later in the playoffs 
 

DV>Milton - DV QB is the difference!  5 star QB’s with 5 star and 4 star receivers  around him is game changer.

DV had some self inflicted mistakes vs SFA and over came all them!  To the tune that they out gained MD and held SFA to less yards than MD.

The last I checked MD is pretty damn good and that should tell you all you need to know!  
 

noting that DV was only in game 2 while SFA had been playing games for month solid!  
 

only foolish would label Texas schools and pretend they are not capable of winning at the highest level.  Then creating narrative that the recruited up privates are unbeatable is simply hog wash.  Which creates the bogus polls.

You only rank BC so high because they are the only hope for NJ.

BC like IMG are not dominating regular standard high school teams and you continue to shove these teams in our face.

Texas teams need to travel. TX top 5 perennial teams need to be willing to play quality out of state teams consistently.  Mater Dei, for one, has proven for many years its willing to travel and take on the best teams. It’s not just about rosters and statistics.  Texas teams haven’t been willing to address this. I’m sure there are reasons but if fans want to build any real consensus on “National Champion” caliber teams, you have to travel. At least one quality out of state win and do that consistently. HS football for the top national teams is become and national sport more than ever, not just regional discussions anymore.

Milton is currently undefeated with a strong oos road win. Neither BG or DV can stake that claim.

Milton has a way better coaching staff than DV. Plus they have a high profile oos, road win which DV will never ever have.

Beating AHP on the road is nothing to selectively discard or discount. Especially after their win at STA this weekend. And BG struggling to beat now-unranked, 3-loss STA can’t be ignored.
