Don Bosco would massacre Hun.

Joes scheduled SFA, right?  We beat Joes, right?   Took 3 knees on the 1 with 90 seconds left.  We scheduled Hoban.  We played BC and DePaul.

do you now know enough to figure out that Bosco ranks higher than Hun?

the aim is to get it right, not to follow general rules of thumb and form of a herd of wrongheadedness.

Every pollster utilizes different criteria. I respect each of them eventhough I disagree with most of them.

Because you and I live in NJ and follow the state extremely closely, we both know that BC, DPC, Delby, DBP, and SJR are all better than Hun and would beat them convincingly. Whitey does the best he can. We all do.

PS: Tonight CP has Winslow Township AND Hun ranked higher than Delby, Bosco and Joe's.

Winslow's had a heck of year no doubt, but a Top 10 ranking in New Jersey is as high as I can go.   Hun's ranking is partially due to its win over Mt. Carmel.  The win over Rabun-Gap Nacoochee helped, but still not real confident in them.

I love his rankings.  I gave them a thumbs up.  What he does is a major undertaking and selfless.

I was just pointing that out for kicks and conversation, not to criticize at all.  A small imperfection, at most, but it does not take away from the whole product.

his responses are always intelligent and thoughtful.  I wouldn’t suggest that Bosco replace Hun, btw.

I think DBP would beat Hun, but they most certainly would not massacre them. Hun has stepped it up this year with impressive wins over Mt. Carmel and Nacoochee. I, personally, rank Hun 5th in Jersey.

You have to ask yourself if Hun and DBP were to play on a neutral field and you had to bet your next paycheck on who wins straight up, who are you betting on. I think most rational and objective folks take DBP.  If you pick your teams based on daisy chains, well that is your prerogative. I prefer to use the eye test and objectivity. BFD if Hun played SFA. Totally irrelevant in terms of how they would fare against DBP.

I think this is the big problem with most polls.

Straight up? I gotta go with DBP. That’s why I have them ranked higher in my poll. I just don’t think it would be a massacre. I would guess 27-17ish.

Any season from now until eternity Hun should never ever be ranked ahead of BC, DBP and SJR. Trust those from the Garden State who know these teams and players like the backs of our hands. Other than the few PGs on Hun's roster, the rest of the roster mirrors an average public school from Iowa.

Lol. I wouldn’t go that far. This year, Hun beat two quality teams in Nacoochie and Mt. Carmel. Those two would run roughshod over Iowa.
