IMO it makes the most sense to use computers for local playoffs. Letting coaches and local media decide playoffs is problematic and subject to extreme bias. They were also bogus the years that MD won the MNC. It will be bogus this year even in MD runs the table. Perhaps 'bogus' is a strong word but you get my point. Its mythical and there will always be somebody that feels they should have been that team. But that is okay, as it creates things to discuss on boards like this. Misterfootball is the best comp poll. While its great at the national level for the MNC, it is irrelevant in terms of what the CIF needs. They need rankings for all teams, not just the top 5 or 6 teams.
