Omaha Vol
Lakeland over STA, huh? Venice and Armwood too high. You think CCC would beat Lake Mary?

Lakeland over STA for now. Really concerning they were in a 4 quarter dog fight with Western. Venice and Armwood pass the eye test and look good getting off the bus. Both teams exploding with talent. CCC got a crazy influx of transfers and are as talented as anyone. Lake Mary is mainly their QB and WR. Plus one spot is splitting hairs. I had Atlantic under Ely based on results but picked Atlantic to win which they did big time. When ranking teams it could be splitting hairs and there could be so many different options and ways to do It.

Splitting hairs and daisy chaining makes it that much harder. I bet you would do well with that. I thought about putting out a TN top 25 for shits and giggles. Maybe a NE top 10. lol

Beating Maryville is a tall order, but if they pull the upset that would definitely vault them into the top 10.

Game is at home. And they are much improved from last year. I seen Maryville last year and wasn’t impressed. They lost to Farragut. It’s gonna be a battle that’s for sure

Farragut, sad to say, is terrible this year. The Admirals will always have baseball. Lol

GTFOOH That should tell you how slim the gap is between teams in that range Norland had just beaten an almost consensus top 10 team in MNW so of course they went up Norland will have games to rise back up in the coming weeks but the key to any good rankings is the ability to seamlessly move week to week and adjust as the results push teams up/down Surely as someone who does rankings every week you can understand that teams rise and fall over the course of a season

And sometimes teams move up or down based on teams around them too. You know that. And they moved from 18 to 11 after beating a high ranked team. They just ran into a buzz saw and the wheels fell off at the end. Just for arguments sake what if Chaminade was 4 and Norland was 15 after this game. Would it be believable that the game would go the way it went? Close for a while then the better team pulls away in the 2nd half? I picked Chaminade to win, and have them higher ranked. What’s the gripe?
Nolebull813
Look what happened to Orange Lutheran. Barely beat a good team so skyrocketed up the rankings, and ran into a buzz saw elite team. And got put back in their place. Couldn’t be competitive. The talent disparity was too vast. They were reminded the pecking order and they were further down the list. It happens
Nolebull813
Game was 24-20 at half. Chaminade got a pick 6, then stopped Norland on downs twice and scored. they got 21 in the 3rd quarter and then the game ended like that. So the 1st, 2nd and 4th quarters were even. The 3rd quarter meltdown by Norland was the difference

And Central can even it up by beating AHP tonight People don't realize it but a lot of years Broward IS the better county and may surpass Dade but it doesn't mean Dade doesn't have good teams Some years Dade is stronger other years it's Broward Edited September 20 by Softballguy

Let's see if that translates to a win. If I'm a betting man, I'm taking AHP.
