They beat Edgewater on the road. Edgewater hadn't lost at HOME during the regular season since 2016. That's 10 seasons.

Yet, they're still not in your T25? Shameful!

Who????????????

Sorry, my bad. Good job, then!

Beating Lipscomb and Edgewater to start the year is a no brainer. I just didn’t want to jump the gun yet with the Lipscomb game. I wanted to wait until the Edgewater game to see if they were for real. Either they are or Edge is DOWN!

A few weeks ago you said Edgewater wasn't down. They just didn't take the NFLA game in London seriously!!! Sooo many excuses.

They barely lost to a team who is  very talented as evidence by beating Lipscomb. LA took the number 1 team in Alabama to the brink.

FA was beating Lipscomb 28-3 before they let them back in at the end.

Edgewater should have beaten FA. They let them come back at the last second.

Edgewater isn’t bad. You can’t just judge teams by wins and losses. You have to get some context in things. How good is the opponent. Are the refs notorious for home cooking. Injuries. Etc it’s not just black and white

You despise Power Privates. Hence, you're suppressing them in your rankings. Not right.

 No they won’t.

Never know. Injuries can happen. Teams aren’t the same every year. Chaminade lost their QB in the 1st quarter of the Ely game and then needed up losing.

CCC and First Academy have been loading up. It’s not as locked as it was the past few years. Chaminade is still the favorite, but it’s not written in stone just yet

not sure they will challenge but they were bigger and much faster than LA.  as pointed out, LA gave thompson all they could handle.  based on those 2 games, I think FA might be a better team than thompson.  I was told FA got 33 transfers before the season started!  that's a big influx of talent.

I might need to re-evaluate my rankings as it pertains to FA then.

33 could be a stretch but they did get a ton. Enough to go from punching bag to state ranked in one offseason.

Thing is not every transfer is created equal. It’s not like they have 4 and 5 star guys all over going to one team in the Orlando area.

Does Lipscomb have transfers? Not sure how it works in the Nashville area in regards to the pecking order of talent migrating to schools

Pretty sure the best teams in the Nashville area for football are from the Brentwood suburb area

Brentwood Academy has a couple of state titles to their name obviously

In terms of publics maybe Ravenwood, they got 2 state runner ups and a state title in the past decade but probably closer to like a Bartram Trail type team in a weaker state

When Dilfer was their coach they had a recruited up all star team. They were legit for a year or two. In 2022 they took out AL state champ Thompson and GA big class semi-finalist Milton. Both by double digits. Been sanctioned with violations since.

4* QB xfer/ND commit from Mississippi transferred to Lipscomb two seasons ago, but then returned home to Mommy after not be able to dominate vs top competition.

great question.  we have lots of transfers here as well but nothing like that.  currently, LA is on probation so none come in which really hurts over the next couple of years.  we have 2 boarding schools in TN that are more or less exempt from the transfer rules (family doesnt have to move, they dont have to sit out a year) and they currently dominate for the most part (baylor and mccallie).  but we have good enough public schools in TN (oakland, maryville, alcoa, brentwood), that they get as many transfers as privates.  I think the nashville privates pull a lot from nashville public which is why it is harder for them to contend like east nash and pearl cohn have been doing.
