Did you even watch this Westlake team to day?  have you even watched them this year.  For god sake their game was on a national station for easy viewing.

What I can assure you is that NO team from ANY state will EVER be automatically ranked high for just getting to their state finals. For now NS is out and Westlake is in. Excited that the mundane DV/NS chip games are a thing of the past at least for ths season.

But you like ranking on daisy chains, so how will you manage that NC beat the team that beat the heralded SFA? 
If NC beats Westlake they are very deserving of a top 5 national ranking. I know you don’t like NC, but you need to acknowledge their cumulative performance on the field or you lose credibility. Not many teams have objectively played better than NC this season. They will likely be around 4 to 6 in the next composite poll. Having said that, should be a great game next week where either team could easily win.

Of course NC will be ranked higher next week ahead of DV and SFA. Two national pollsters had NC outside their Top 10 last week. Now, they'll be included after earning it!!! Remember, it's not where you start but where you finish!

Just went to MaxPreps looked NC record for the past 12 years 62 (W) 63 (L). From 2013 to 2020 record 17(W) 53(L).From 2021 to present 45(W) 10 (L). They are a program on the rise.
