Bishop Gorman looked every bit of the number 2 team in the country against STA. Gorman's line is bigger than IMG. That is really saying something. STA is good, as always. That win over STA looked very impressive. Mater Dei lost their heart and soul, Eric Johnson the defensive coordinator this year and breaks in a new head coach. Ask De La Salle what happened when their defensive heart and soul, Terry Eidson stepped down from the program. They lost that first year to a Norcal team for the first time in 30+ years. Will the streak end? Funny, the last time Raul played a number 1 versus number 2 showdown, they lost. 2001 Long Beach Poly had 10+ NFL players on that team but lost to De La Salle 27-15.
