Chaminade Madonna won 2A and got beaten down in Florida by the only top team they played(Booker Washington).

Chaminade Madonna won 2A and got beaten down in Florida by the only top team they played(Booker Washington).

 

Chaminade flew in the same day due to a flight delay and literally went from the airport to the field to play. No warmups, no walkthrough. Nothing. 
 

and this was during a time when 4A Texas state champions we’re getting clobbered by average 5A teams. Back when 5A was the biggest. 
 

I don’t think a team as small as Chaminade from Texas has ever played A team from the highest class there
