I mean both schools are on the good side, but they're not really top notch in that area.  Seems weird to be trumpeting the academics of a private school when they don't fare better than a behemoth public school, but that's me.

Us Roman Catholics just want more than just a public education.

They're 30 points better always last year. Duncanville had no answer for Mater Dei's offense and trying to run on Mater Dei only isn't gonna get you very far.

This is the same thing you said about Aledo.  You don't think,  but then again when do you think rationally when talking about Texas

Ok

Imagine being mad because of a cartoon

Hard to believe that an actual coach from Bosco would reply like this. This guy is supposed to represent the program and he replies on Twitter with an expletive-containing acronym. Stay classy Bosco!

That viral Allen booster video really pissed them off. Calling their beloved stadium a "double-wide," saying the coaching in TX is significantly better than CA, and the anti-Private sentiment as a whole ticked them off. Friday night they'll be playing for and representing every Private, Parochial program in America. The SJB program is at a tipping point. And a monstrous showing on Friday night will certainly get them to the Promised Land.

This still doesn’t excuse the classless response from somebody on the Bosco coaching staff.

It’s a knee-jerk ignorant response. If it were me I’d take the high road and let my team’s play do my talking. If I was the head coach I would fire any assistant that is unable to show restraint.

On another site Texasball would go on about how Aledo was always a top 25 team. That all ended when A 4 loss Bishop Amat team came in and rolled them

Score was pretty misleading - I was at the game - Aledo had to play their only defensive returning starter at RB and he still rushed for over 200 yards as 3rd team RB. The game was series of Aledo turnovers in the 2nd QRt along with 4th down big plays by Amat.  Amat was nice team losing really close game in the semifinals.  Fast forward The kid who was MVP RB of state title game did not play vs BA along with another D1 skill kid that was limited in the game with injury.

don’t get you panties tangled up.  BA was nice team.
